We did not want to spend a lot of money on cabinets for a laundry room, so we purchased utility cabinets from HD. The first step was to install a ledger board on the wall to help with installing the cabinets level and in line. This also helps hold them up when screwing them into the wall. The only issue is you have to "fix" the wall after you remove the ledger board.
Once the ledger board is level and installed, you can start hanging the cabinets. There are some issues with hanging a cabinet in the corner since the drywall never forms a 90 degree corner. I loosely installed it and then positioned the second cabinet for install. I also screwed the second cabinet in loosely and clamped them together in order to get the best fit and appearance. It will look best if the cabinets are flush and level with each other as opposed to the wall. I then screwed the two cabinets together. Make sure the screw is not too long to penetrate out the other side.
This is how your cabinets should look when installed properly. They are even and flush with each other.
I installed the third cabinet using the same method and then I secured them all to the wall. Make sure you secure the cabinets into studs.
The next step is to install the doors and the pulls. The hinges for the doors are completely adjustable so you will have to play around with them in order to get the doors spaced evenly and closing properly. You will need to adjust them left to right and up and down.
